“Trinity” Published by Four Chambers Press, Phoenix

My short story sequence, “Trinity,” has been selected out of 900 entries by editor Jake Friedman to be published in the inaugural issue of the new Phoenix community literary magazine, Four Chambers (www.fourchamberspress.com).  “Trinity” consists of three independent short stories about one family that are set 20 years apart (1963, 1983, 2003).  Imagine chapters in a book that can stand alone but that also work well together.  While this is the first publication of “Trinity” in a literary magazine, “Trinity” is also part of my short story collection, Baffled and Other Stories (see www.garyswritestuff.wordpress.com for excerpts and to order your copy).  Four Chambers the magazine will be available (copies and subscriptions) in December 2013.   Let’s support the local guy!

just read “Trinity” and am deeply moved. Although set in sequences 20 years apart, i am taken right into the heart of the moment; the sights, smells, atmosphere of the room, etc. Powerful stuff!
